About Us
A Move Made
Easy, Inc. was started in 2003 by Sharon Cofar,
a certified project manager, technology specialist and former elementary school
teacher. She grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she volunteered with the
elderly since she was 8 years old. She has always been active in the community
and has earned several awards for her charity involvement. Professionally, she
has also won many awards for her outstanding customer service.
Ms. Cofar left the corporate
arena to start her own company, A Move Made Easy,
Inc. to make a difference in the lives of others. Sharon is totally
dedicated to pleasing her clients and alleviating the stress connected with
relocation.
Ms. Cofar has been a guest
speaker on several radio programs and has been featured in a number of magazine
and newspaper articles throughout the United States including the Certified
Senior Advisor Magazine, Senior Spirit, Ft. Lauderdale Sun Sentinel,
Miami Herald, Boca Raton Times and Coral Springs
Forum.
She currently serves on the
Board of Elder Services Resource Network, is a member of the National
Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM), the Broward Coalition on
Aging, the American Health Association, Women in Healthcare and Project
Management Institute. She is the founder and past president of Brittany
chapter, Women's American ORT and the former Vice President of Lake County
Region in Illinois. In 1999, she was selected as a "Hometown Hero" by the
Miami Herald newspaper. She has always been active in the community and
committed to making a difference.
Currently, she carries through her commitment and love for seniors with her
involvement in the Elder Services Resource Network Senior Expo and Outreach
committees, and as a member of the planning committee of the Broward
County Alzheimer Memory Walk.
In 2006, A Move Made Easy participated
in the Walk and was the second highest fund
raiser of the corporate teams.
